School Programs for Age Group 2 – 10

Big barn nature camp hosts about 50 schools a year since 2015, we carry a great pride and appreciation on conducting school programs.

The Big Barn Nature Camp is a certified organic farm close to Bannergatta National Park. This
camp is a perfect place to unplug yourself from gadgets and get close to nature. The camp is
covered with more than 200 species of lush green trees, about 150 species of butterflies, and
80 species of birds. The farm has a lot of domestic animals and birds which can be petted.
We encourage all age groups of children varying from Montessori to higher grade students to
know, learn and appreciate organic farming, sustainability, rainwater harvesting, and organic
waste management.
At the big barn Nature camp, we encourage small kids to feed the cows and touch various
animals and birds to develop empathy and care towards animals.
When it comes to higher-grade kids we engage them in various adventure activities, compass
and map reading, tent pitching, bird watching, butterfly and moth study, and a workshop on
spiders.
